Diesel was a German engineer born in and died in The engineer was always interested in engines and spent his life working on and developing them.

Diesel was able to patent a more efficient prime mover and other important parts in order to develop the first diesel engine. This book gives very good insight of Diesel's life and his accomplishments. Thi This book is a biography of Rudolf Diesel. This book also talks about early history of engines in general and how their use became so widespread. Even at the end of the book there are a few pages that talk about what makes a diesel engine work and what parts are required.

That is the format that applies to all e-books available from the Kindle store. It is almost identical to the Mobi format and the reason behind it is that the AZW has its origins in the Mobi format. The latter again was created by the French company MobiPocket which Amazon had acquired and went on to engineer the same into the primary Kindle format.

That said, the Amazon AZW format is still a bit different from Mobi in that the former has better compression so that the same e-book in AZW format would take up smaller space compared to Mobi.
